1994 jeep grand cherokee laredo 4.0 6 cyl. will start and stall with in four minutes. Drove it for ten minutes, parked it, the same day went to start it and drove it a mile and died, and wouldnt start. took it home and after ten minutes it would start, drove in 500 ft and it stalled. Ive changed the crank shaft position sensor, spark plugs, spark plug wires, air filter, dist cap all in the pass six months. it dosnt seem like the alarm the lights are not flashing horn is not blowing, when it does start volts are over 14, gas it 3/4 tank full, and no check engine light. i do on off on off on and no codes come up besides the battery being disconnected with last fifty starts and code 55 which is the end of codes.
Check to see if the fuel pump is running after it shuts down...could be a relay or the pump itself (overheating internally) Checked the fuel filter yet? Some crank sensors need to be shimmed. If it's too close to the flywheel even though you recently changed it, if it's too close to the wheel it can fail again. May not be the case but worth checking over. Also check the ceramic resistor on the left fender near the master cylinder if you have one. That too can cause problems.
