You still need to do a fuel pump pressure test.I seen where you can hear the fuel pump, but no pressure, if good pressure you'll need to check for injector pulsation, unplug one of the injector harness connector (will have two wires) with a test light with key on check for voltage if test light lights up, then reverse test light at battery, now you'll check for pulsation check other wire that will be ground, have some one crank engine test light should flash, if no flash will need to have computer diag. injector get ground from computer (possible bad computer.Good luck.

Motor turns but acts like it is not getting gas

There is not a reset button for the fuel pump. For was the only company that had those. You can try replacing the fuel pump relay that is located under the hood in the fuse box on the drivers side. Does everything else work like power locks and power slide doors?

listen at your fuel tank to see if you can hear the fuel pump running
if it isn't check your fuses as well as your relay if these seem to be ok then it's probably the fuel pump

2006 Ford Expedition blowing Fuel Pump Relay fuse

Try resetting fuel pump. I do believe the reset button is on the forward passengers side of vehicle. The button is behind the plastic shield. Reset once or twice. This hopefully will fix your problem. Look in your manual for exact placement of fuel pump reset button

Where is the fuel pump reset button located on a 1996 oldsmobile aurora

There isn't a "reset" button for your vehicle. There is a fuse and a fuel pump relay. They are both located in the box in the right hand front corner in the engine compartment. Below is a diagram of both the fuses and the relays and the are both marked as fuel pump or fuel pu,p relay. If you have checked and are not geting power to the fuel pump, I would start there then check for a good ground and then check the wiring. Wish it were like a Ford that has a reset but it does not. Hope this helps a litle anyway.

Hi my name is james, I'm in need of help we are working on a 2006 ford f-350 5.4l v8.. The Fuel Pump isn't working we have positive to the pump, but there is no ground?

check the relay before you replace the pump The switch is usually located around the passengers kickpanel. There should be an access hole to press the button on the switch. Sometimes the part is just above the carpet and sometimes you have to remove the kickpanel. If you are unable to find this switch on the passengers side, then look on the drivers side kickpanel.

Under the hood is a Powerbox. The shutoff switch (inertia switch) gets its power from the Fuel pump Relay after the Ignition is turned on. If resetting the shutoff switch does not help, your fuel pump Relay may be bad. On some Ford models, the horn Relay is the same Relay used for the fuel pump. This would allow you to swap and test before buying a new Relay.

I need to know where I can find the fuel reset button.

Although many Ford vehicles have a fuel pump inertia swtich that can be reset if tripped, there isn't a fuel reset button on this vehicle. Power for the fuel pump is supplied by a 20 amp fuse [#6 in the relay center I believe] and the power is routed through the fuel pump relay which is controlled by the Engine Control Module and then sent out to the pump. I rarely see a blown fuse or bad relay but do see a lot of pumps that wear out an quit working.

My 2000 chevy blazer starts to putter and sounds like its running out of gas before it cuts off.i thing its some sort of valve that needs replacing....

you should have the fuel pressure tested to make sure there isn`t a problem with the fuel pump after it has been running awhile as sometimes a pump will slow down or quit when it gets hot or the volume drops off even with good fuel pressure so both need to be checked at the same time.
