My 1995 Suzuki Swift floods at startup untill the engine warms up

The engine only floods itself when it is warmer than 0 degrees celcius. It is the 4 cylinder model. Today it is -1degree celcius and was fine. Any help would be appreciated. I did change the water temperature sensor that screws into the manifold, but it did nothing.

Check for vacuum leaks. WIth the engine running, wiggle all hoses around and listen for a hissing sound. Look for a cracked broken or loose hose.

When I drive my 1991 Suzuki Swift, The engine will flood at a stop light, or after I park it. I need to hold the accelerator to the floor until it clears the fuel. Any ideas why it's flooding. It's a 1.3...

The fuel pressure regulator may have a cracked diaphram causing it to suck fuel into the vacuum supply. You could also have a leaking injector but that should be visible.

1988 chevy suburban 350 throttle body it runs fine until warmed up to about 160 degrees then floods itself out then wait an hour same thing happens

I would suspect a bad engine coolant temp sensor.I would have someone pull the diagnostic codes and look at the data stream and see what the engine temp reading is.

Missing hose from 1991 suzuki swift, what is it!

This is the warm air intake hose - it was probably a corrugated aluminium pipe about 2" in diameter. It's commonly called the stove pipe. Warm air from around the exhaust manifold is piped to the air filter case and used when the engine is cold to enable the fuel in the carby to atomise better. As the engine warms up, less of this pre-warmed air is needed and the valve in the air cleaner tube gradually closes off. Air then only comes from behind the headlight or the resonator box in the wheel arch. The loss of this hose won't affect warmed-up drivability at all (unless you are in a really cold climate), but performance/economy when cold or during warm-up maybe worse.

Hey iam looking for tail lights for suzuki swift 1995 model can you help me please.

Get to know the sister cars. The Suzuki Swift is almost completely identical to the Geo Metro and the Pontiac Firefly: the only differences were that the Metro and the Firefly were available in sedan form and the Swift wasn't. Also, no changes were made to any of these cars between 1995 and 1997. If you look for parts for any of these cars they will work.

Vehicles mentioned:
1995, 1996, 1997 Suzuki Swift
1995, 1996, 1997 Geo Metro 2/3dr
1995, 1996, 1997 Pontiac Firefly 2/3dr

In addition the only things that changed after 1997 were the bumpers and front turn signals (and that the Metro became a Chevy) so taillights for later Swifts/Metros/Fireflies should work as well.
