Every thing is in the intagrated power module(fuse panel under hood near front left fender). fuse 5 circuit breaker in position 7 and acsessary relay. all of these will cause your problem. your going to have to pull the relay out and then lightly push in to feal if it clicks this is were you start. if it dosent click its no getting turned on by the body control module. also try it with the van running. hope this helps.

Check the fuses under the hood, thats where the power outlet fuse is located, but also check under the dash box if radio still doesnt work after replacing fuse under the hood.

there is no under dash fuse panel in this van.check to see if there is power at fuse#5 in the engine compartment fuse panel.if no power then the front control module in the same box needs to be checked or acsessary relay.

Fuse diagram

You may need an adapter to allow the unit to be compatible with your vehicle. Go to a local audio installation center and ask for info regarding this problem. They should be able to assist you. More of the newer audio units aren't really designed for older model vehicles so retro fit wiring and adapters are usually needed.

Radio works when car is off turn on car and it quits

The auxiliary power (when the car is off) is separate from the power that powers the radio when the car is on. It sounds like you might have a blown fuse. Check the fuse panel and see if the fuse associated with the radio is blown

Havin 04 cavalier problem....

Double check the fuses. Also, there are usually TWO fuses for the radio. One has power when the car switch is OFF. This keeps the clock working and your radio presets set. The other is when you turn the key on. The horn not working can be tested if you have a 12V test light (Wal*Mart sells them...). Unplug the horn, hook up the test light, press the horn button. If the light glows, you've got a bad horn (go to your local junkyard for one). If not, recheck ALL the fuses. Good Luck

After replacing battery in 2002 Toyota Sequoia, radio losses memory everytime vehicle is started. What is wrong?

The radio uses a constant power to retain memory(stations, settings, ect.) and switched power to run on. It sounds like there is a problem with the constant power connection. You can first check the fuse box for any blown fuses and replace any that are found. Also look around the battery for any wires with an inline fuse that could be broken. Try looking under the dash near the radio for any inline fuse holders that could have a blown fuse. You might need to pull the radio and start tracing the constant 12v power wire. First verify that it does have power and if it does then the radio may have been damaged from a voltage spike when the new battery was installed. If the wire does not have power then you will need to start tracing the wire back to the source of the short. It sounds to me like a blown fuse somewhere....

Blown fuse, 2002 Suzuki Vitara

Hi,

Thanks for using FixYa!

If you are suspecting that the radio, car lighter fuse is busted. You need to check the fuse box under the dashboard. Check the fuse box diagram found on the cover of the fuse box under that dash. Check if you see "Lighter, Radio" Find the fuse and use the fuse puller to pull out the fuse.

You can find the fuse puller inside the fuse box. I hope this helps.

Have a nice day.

My 1995 honda accord radio and outlet adapter not working

There is blown fuse check fuse panel on the left side kick panel . check all the fuses in that fuse box with a fuse tester some circuits are linked together. it may not only be the cigarette lighter and radio fuse that control those items. Double check all fuse with a fuse tester or a test light with the ignition ON. Good luck and thanks for using FIX YA

2003 Toyota Corrola Radio Dead

You could have melted some wire's or blown the fuse in the actual radio it'self if it is a newer style radio i suggest taking the face plate off pop the side tabs slide the radio forward disconnect the harness and antenna booster check the fuse, should be on the back left or right corner also inspect the wiring ground wires ignition power wire ect. Also check the actual car fuses in you're car and when checking wiring be alert and use a electrical light tester or volt meter for power and ground and ect also cap or temporarliy tape all loose wires if you did not use a adapting harness.
