Fix broken fuwl gauge in 02 saturn vue

there is usually a resistor built into the actual guage that smooths out the signals from the fuel sender unit , not sure if you will be able to repair to this level , time and money might be better spent on a new gauge

possible blowen fuse or a bad sending unit inside fuel tank also check the connections at the tank

My 2003 Saturn Vue instrument panel stopped working - no speedometer, no tachometer, no fuel gauge, no temperature gauge. Whats wrong?

The plug at the back of the panel has come lose.Remove the dash panel and push plug on firmly.Hope that was helpfull.

Fuel gauge

The fuel tank has 2 different fuel level senders(floats) It needs both of them. You have to drop the tank, and pull the pumps.

If the fuel gauge doesnt work at all more than likly its the fuel level sending unit located in the fuel pump assembly, the only way to fix this is to replace the entire assembly, will run you roughly $300 just for the part.
