The dashboard lights on the top part of the display above the tach and speedometer have be fading for some time. It's not intermittent and of course is only recognizable when driver when it's dark out and I'm using my lights. The fading is now getting more pronounced. Any advice? Thanks.

I had the exact same problem. What I did was change the instrument cluster entirely, as well change my body control module. No problems ever since.

SOURCE: why doesn't my dashboard gauges work
I just fixed this on my '96 Voyager. The problem was caused by a loose pin where the wiring harness plugs into the circuit board behind the gauges. It takes a little work to get the instrument cluster out of the car and then some soldering skills. Look for where the plug pins are attached to the back of the circuit board. One pin on mine showed a little circle shaped crack. Re solder the loose pin and you are good to go. Actually I re soldered all 13 pins just in case.
