I have an 03 H2 with a oil pressure gauge pegged all the way to the right and the speedometer is also pegged all the way to the right. They both happened at the same time, so what could have happened?

Stepper motors gone bad in alot of GM instrument panels 2003-2006. You need to replace the old bad stepper motors in the instrument panels with the X27 168 stepper motors. There is a youtube video about how to repair such GM instrument clusters. Another youtube video shows how to remove instrument panel. Amazon sells repair kits for the new stepper motors.

Check your grounding connections on the inside of the mounting brackets or on the instrument cluster.

Not getting oil pressure when turned on runs rough, oil pressure gauge is pegged high on 99Bonneville SE

I suspect the gauge/sender/ or wiring is bad. Does the gauge peg with the key on, but engine not running? An engine wont run long(maybe 10 min with no oil pressure). suspect gauge has nothing to do with a rough running.

M oil pressure Guage is pegged out. And speedometer works whenever it wants to.

Wire to sender becoming shorted will peg the gauge. Speedo likely unrelated. Check connection at transmission.

1988 Pontiac 6000 instrument cluster problems

The fuel gauge will be the tank sender unit fault--- The speedo will be the sender unit on the gear box playing up and the oil gauge will be a fault to the oil sender unit. The only common point is the earth which may be loose rusted

My oil presure senor when i start my truck (h2 Hummer) is starting to move to the right when i pressed the gas in my truck instead of staying in the middle. Does anyone know what could cause that to...

the more you give it gas the more oil pressure your engine generates so yes the gauge should go to the right indicating more pressure.especially now with new and clean oil.normal nothing to worry about.hope this helps you.

High oil pressure in my humer h2

First thing that i would reccomend is switching to 5w30 oil since this is what GM wants you to run in your hummer. Next i assume your gauge is pegged out and doesn't fluctuate. You are going to have to take your hummer down to the local dealer and have a computer hooked up to see if the gauge is bad or the oil pressure sender is bad, more than likely the sender. thanks for using fixya !! have a nice day
