SOUNDS LIKE U HAVE A BAD IGNITION SWITCH. MY EX HAD THE SAME PROBLEM WITH HER CAMARO. I EVENTUALLY BOUGHT A KIT FROM PAINLESS: http://www.painlessperformance.com/ THE KIT BYPASSES THE STOCK SOLENOID AND GOES THRU A FORD STARTER SOLENOID. THE JUICE GOING THRU THE WIRING EVENTUALLY DESTROYS THE IGNITION SWITCH CAUSING THE SYSMPTONS UR EXPERIENCING. CHANGE THE IGNITION SWITCH AND INSTALL THE KIT.
Sounds like you may have a bad ground cable. just as a test you can run a thick wire from the battery to the frame or another good ground on the engine see if this makes a difference if it does replace the ground cable.

have battery tester ,even took battery out of p.u that is def good.the motor turns over good can crank it for 5 mins.turns over normal.if you just keep turning key off and on sometines for about 10 min. it will start, or i can hook jumper cable to it and it will start right up.it like something needs the extra juice to make it work. replaced coil, dis cap,map sin.plugs. fuel pump relay.altho you could hear the pump run when turn key on. driving me crazy.thanks for any help you can give me. greately appreciated
yes
battery ok
have tried even switched battery.if keep turning switch off and trying to restart sometimes for ten min it might start. but if i hook jumpers up it will start immedetly.its like the extra voltage does the trick. can hear fuel pump kick on .have checked battery, alt, starter. replaced dis cap, pluigs.coil, map, fuel pump relay after it runs you can shut it off and it will start right back up. just first thing in morning. its really annoying. thanks for any answers you may have
ground ok
Remove the cables and clean them.
how did u get the battery tested? a voltmeter only reads volts. u want amps, since that what is what ur battery needs to crank over the engine. also u could have a cell going bad, not enough electrolite in the battery.
