Engine only firing on left bank rtf. Side no. Fire will start and idle

Check for spark on the side not firing. If there is spark, the injectors on the right side may have a problem in the wiring to them. Older multi port injection systems used a "bank fired" approach: all the injector grounds on one bank splice together before they go into the computer to be pulsed.
All of the injectors have a steady voltage applied to them when the key is on. The same color wire to all injectors is the power wire, it is a fused circuit, the fuse is in the power distribution box, and is hot in run or start. When the computer internally grounds the injectors, pulse occurs and fuel is sprayed out. Check if the right side has power to the injectors with key on, use a voltmeter or test light. To test an injector circuit, purchase a cheap "noid light" from a parts store. You plug it into an injector connector, then crank the engine over. If the noid light is blinking, the power and ground circuit is good for that injector.

Fuel injector diagram

old post
no engine stated, ?? which one? 4AFE or 7Afe (TOY ENGINE)
the harness will not allow cross wiring injectors
how did you do that?
the #1 injector is on #1 cylinder
and on #1 fuel rail port.
the #1 cylinder on inline engines, the crank pulley end.
if you need wire colors, we can do that too.
or log in to mitchells DIY and read. that.
here is the 7aFE wires
B-O is 12vdc power key on, the ECU fires the 4 on right.

Three injectors on the same has no plus not fireing

The injectors get power on the same pink wire, so they should all have power. Each injector is grounded by the engine computer on a different circuit. ( on most engines )
If the spark plugs are firing on each cylinder, but the injectors are not getting a ground signal, it would almost have to be a wiring or computer problem. You should be able to pin test the harness at the computer to verify if you don't have ground pulse at the injectors.

Do you know how to test electrical circuit's with a volt meter ? Power an grounds and control for the coil #3 cylinder ,plus fuel injector ? If you don't know how to do automotive electrical circuit testing ,your best bet would be to take it to a qualified repair shop. The coil is computer controlled , pull it an see if you see or hear it sparking . Is the fuel injector firing. ? Videos on youtube showing how to test. Do you know what a wiring diagram is ? Free one's here http://www.bbbind.com/free_tsb.html Enter vehicle info. year ,make , model and engine . Under system click on engine then under subsystem click on fuel controls . Click the search button then the blue link. Scroll down to diagram # 6 . Coil circuits . Pink with black trace - B+ voltage , black is ground , brown is signal ground in the PCM - computer . orange with white trace is coil trigger signal from the PCM . Diagram #9 is fuel injector electrical circuits . Test power and grounds . You probably have a bad coil or injector ,wiring issue , or a bad driver inside the PCM . If the PCM needs to be replaced it will need programming , dealer only .

I have a 94 chevy van g20. it has the 5.7L TBI. im having an issue with getting to much fuel to one of the injectors. If i turn the key one click foward to the on position, the driver side injector starts...

You have a wiring problem on the control side wire . One wire will have B+ voltage the other goes to the PCM- engine computer . The engine computer suppy's a ground when triggered by cam sensor . Your problem is you have a bare wire touching ground making the injector fire all the time the key is on ! Check the wiring harness from the injector to the PCM for rubbed through spots !
The PCM must be inside the passenger compartment under the right side dash or behind the right kick panel . Here is a web site for free wiring diagrams . http://www.bbbind.com/free_tsb.html Enter vehicle info. year , make , model and engine size . Under system click on engine ,then under subsystem click on fuel controls . Click on the search button , then the second blue link. Second diagram down is fuel injector electrical circuit. Dark green wire is the controlled ground . That is the wire to check .

Had no spark. Replaced ignition mod, 2 coil packs, and computer. I now have fire; problem is engine will not run, the fuel injector sprays fuel (too much i think). When i unplug the injector the engine...

Check for any wiring pinch which might have occurred when the injector was replaced. The injector is driven directly by the computer, so it seems to point at the new computer as being faulty. (pulse signal is always 'on')

The cilynder #1 and spark plug is wet with gas,I did chenged the injector an fuel pressure regulator, still the same engine is shaking, nissan sentra 1993

Did you change the spark plug?? Your car (1993) has a distibutor assy, which means it has ignition wires for each plug. How are your wires??cap?? rotor?? Have you ever done ignition tune up?? If the answer is yes and you have already installed new injector and pressure regulator (althoug it still could be a injection issue/ECM or computer, because ECM is what drives the injectors. If the ECM or wiring to #1 injector has an issue, the injector will not fire off and put gas into the cylinder, resulting in a misfire.) Remove #1 injector connector and check to see if you have power/12V on one side of the connector. If you have 12V there, than check the other wire for continuity to the ECM. You will need wiring diagram to find the right wire color at the ECM. That other wire goes into the ECM to the driver which opens and closes the injector depending on your demands as far as gas pedal input. That driver may be bad, causing the injector not to shoot gasoline. Than I would be looking into a engine issue, such as burned valve, or head gasket problem (coolant getting into #1 cylinder, flooding your spark plug). Tough to diagnose over the computer and not looking at it my self. Let me know what you find.
