460 1995dodge ram cranks won't start wiggle wires sometimes works

no ca/truckr model told at all, of many 3 or 4.
no engine told and is and engine problem.

the VIN digit #8 is the engine code

NO model told.
ram 1500 ?, 2500, 3500 or 4000 , and not the Ram van. 1998 (4000 Mexico or Canada)
no engine told one is Diesel;,
3.9 L Magnum V6
5.2 L Magnum V8
5.9 L Magnum V8

does the starter motor always work correctly every time, called cranking?

we get the fact it does not start. sometimes
but what is not clear, at all, is that the starter always makes this sound called cranking? or fails to do cranking

Cranks but will not run or no crank at all ?

Check your owners manual for a fuel shut off button/reset, normally found somewhere in the back interior of the van near the gas tank fill. If you still don't get power, try checking your fuses, make sure you check for two fuse panels....one maybe under the hood and one under the dash. Check them using a lighted probe on both sides of the fuse. Also Google 1994 dodge ram 3500 wiring diagram, much found when I did it! I hope this helps!

check the wiring to the crank/cam position sensors or replace as required

hi your problem is the electric fuelpump in the tank after replaceing it try not to let the truck get below a quarter of a tank on fuel as this will cause overheating of the pump and premature failure of the pump. don

Has anyone bothered to run a computer control module fault code test? That is the very first thing a tech would do. Wiggling wires is likely no the issue here as you found out.

try puting trans fluid in as it may just need to be toped up

if truck has a ceramic ballist resistor near and connected to coil this could be problem or the crk posistion sensor could be too, i would change ballast first if you have on your truck appx cost $10

check all connections to sensors and actuaters ,must be clean and dry ,check connectors at ecm and wiring
