Overheating, cutting off, leaking water 2005 dodge grand caravan

Ok, I have to fill my radiator up everytime I crank my van(leak somewhere) my hubby put in a new thermostat, it starts knocking and sputtering loosing power, over heats then cuts off. I let it sit for 20 mins and it will finally start back up. It only over heats when I am going up a hill or tack it up. My husband thinks it's the water pump, but how would that make my van cut off and knock?

Sounds like a blocked radiator is the knocking the water inside the engine boiling? Did you use water or antifreeze. Water boils faster and at a lower temp

I have a 2005 dodge grand caravan and the radiator fluid was coming out by my feet

If it was coming out by your feet while you were inside the van, your heater core is leaking. Replacing the heater core is a big job - requires removal of the dash assembly.

Are you sure that it is coolant. Puddles form under vehicles where the AC drain is under the car. Check that the puddle is actually coolant and not water from the ac evaporator core.

No heat in 2003 dodge grand caravan. can hear the core making noise at times and also smell antifreeze in the drivers seat occasionally but there is not water leaking in the floor boards and after 2 weeks...

The noise you hear is air bubbles in the core because it has no coolant in it = you do have a leak somewhere [ hose, radiator, waterpump, engine, etc.]. You may also be able to smell the coolant sometimes with a leak under the hood [ the fumes come in through the cowel vents through the heater]. Check the level in radiator when it's cool, if you have a leak the system won't draw coolant from the overflow bottle. A word of caution - these engines don't like to be overheated, they blow gaskets and crack cylinder heads. Should be repaired ASAP.

My 1999 dodge grand caravan is overheating and the antifreeze keeps draining out and you can see puddles on the floor what could it be and it has 114k miles on it

This sounds like you may have a hole in your radiator. First pull your radiator cap off while the car is off look in there and see if there is any fluid in there. If not fill with antifreeze. Once you have done this wait a minute and see if it leaks out if so then there is a leak in the radiator. Next if this doesn't provide an answer look at your hoses you could have a leak in one of the hoses from the radiator to the engine.

Dodge 2002 Grand Caravan V6 3.3 engine overheating/no cabin heat.

Replace the bad radiator hose first.  Second- get you special formulated anti-freeze dye from the auto store and pour it into the radiator.  Third- make sure you got all the air pockets out of your system, cause the coolant system won't work with air pockets in it.  Fourth- Check for leaks by looking for the colored dye.  If it's not the radiator hose, then could possibly be a pin hole in your radiator.  Would suggest replacing all the radiator hoses at the same time while you got the coolant system disconnected, cause you don't want to have to come back and replace another hose in a few months.

Radiator leaking water from somewhere!!

You have to get the system pressure tested. Any decent mechanic probably won't charge for that because it takes but five mins. If you dont see any leaks it could be an internal leak, not good, so cross your fingers.

Dodge Caravan 1990 coolant leak..

do not put water in your radiator. Use 50% mix of antifreeze and water or you will corrode your engine. Add coolant mix to cold engine. Fill the reservoir and the radiator. Warm up eninge while looking for the source of the leak. If lucky, it will be the lower radiator hose. Easy repair. If it's the engine block, big problem. Let us know what you find.
