Have a 91 blazer that would not start without a jump. Bought a brand new battery 2 days ago, started yesterday no problem this morning would not turn over. Lights and radio are on. Could it be something with the starter?

Absolutely, those starters will start making connections internally when worn out. There by draining your battery.Another thing is oil,if the starter starts soaking up the stuff the oil will make electrical connections all by itself.Try cleaning it with brake clean or starter fluid, probably take a couple cans to get it clean but it might work. Now this stuff is highly volatile and not good to breathe so you'll need good ventilation. The area should be free of cleaners before start up (FIRE!),this will give you plenty of time for charging up the battery. This is a temporary fix, repair the leaking valve cover and replace the starter before it melts down completely.Good luck!

Mazda wont start, brand new battery

sounds like you have a failing ecu. the capacitors in the ecu are worn out. there has been a lot of problems with the ecu on mazda's over the years, only take one out put overload from the alternator and the ecu starts playing up. no codes come up as it don't code its self. having the battery off is like a reset.

Hi ihave a fiat brava 1.2 x reg in the morning the car will not start it turns over rather lazy and only 2 or 3 turns and the digital clock trip meter reset to zero.it has new battery earth wires ok...

It seems the battery loses power over night.
There seems to be some electrical componant chewing up the battery.
Try to remove one of the battery terminal wire at night and thn fix it in the morning and thn see if it will start without jumping, if it does thn the battery is being chewed up overnight.
If after removing the battery terminal at night and refitting it in the morning and it still requires jump start ,thn the battery is faulty.
Hope this helps!

Clicking starter=car not starting

the battery is located under the rear seat, check battery connections. if connections are tight replace starter.

91 Cressida won't start

Lead acid batteries can "die" catastrophically. This is actually not all that uncommon. If the battery is new, it should be under warranty. I would take it back, and have them test it. It it fails, which I believe it will, then there is the problem. If it passes, then your alternator is probably bad. The chances of it being your alternator are slim as you did jump the car off, and drive it for a while. If the battery is too weak to start the car, it will not maintain vehicle operation very long without help from the alternator.
