Actually, any VW dealer will provide the code just so long as you show up with the car and its papers identifying you as the registered owner. The dealer who sold you the car (if you're the original owner) is the one most likely to do it as a courtesy. If they like you.

If you dont have it you will need to call the dealer.
Or remove the stereo and get the make and model and search online.
Its going to cost if the dealer won't give it to you for free

Also the dealer wont give you the code unless you drive in to the the original dealer that sold the car. You have to prove you own the radio

Radio code

Look at this site, it has detailed instructions for various Audi radios (assuming you have the code)

2001 Audi A6 2.7t , my audi symphony radio locked out

You will need the code to get it working. You may need Audi for this. Never disconnect the battery, or the alarm with trip on. Since it is frozen, I would try and remove the fuse, and reinstall it to reset the stereo. Then try the code.
I got lucky in my 2001 VW passat, when the stereo code was needed, but then the next day it started working by itself.

Safe mode need code

Unfortunately you have to take that to the dealer - they do this to prevent theft. Usually there is no charge for this.

AUDI A6 RADIO CODE

try another dealer. maybe try to get ahold of one of the techs at lunch time. this info should be free to the car owner, just be ready to supply the title to the car for some proof. maybe try buying the parts guys lunch or coffee and donuts....this usually works for this type of problem. unfortunaley this info really is dealer only..

1999 audi A6 need radio code please

DO YOU HAVE THE ORIGINAL RADIO MANUAL THAT CAME WITH THE VEHICLE? THE CODE IS PRINTED ON THE CARD IN THE RADIO MANUAL. THAT PAGE ALSO GIVES THE INSTRUCTIONS TO GET RADIO OUT OF "SAFE" MODE.

YOU NEED TO HOLD DOWN THE BUTTONS DESCRIBED IN MANUAL TO GET THE RADIO DISPLAY IN THE CODE ENTRY MODE.

AUDI A6 RADIO CODE

I just posted a solution for this problem. It comes straight from the radio manual. The dealer should have told you this. If you want him to do it he'll charge money for his time. IF YOU LOST YOUR CODE. THE DEALER CAN HELP YOU OR IF YOU HAVE YOUR 4 DIGIT CODE: dd43c71.jpg
