Bmw 2006 325 wont engage shifting

Transmission is going bad, very common for bmw automatic transmission after 80,000 miles. A repair shop can fix the issue but I recommend new. This is the one issue that stopped me from getting one and getting the 300srt instead.

To convert 325i automatic transmission to manual transmission 2002 model bmw

Very difficult, you must obtain all the parts from a manual trans car, Transmission, Drive shaft, bell housing, clutch, flywheel, pedal assembly, Then you have the problem of the computer .. everything on a 2002 is computer controlled. You will find it very difficult just to install the pedal assembly. I would not do this change over unless its a race car and i could cut away parts that are in the way. Best answer is to get rid of the automatic car and buy a Manual car. I have a 95 325I with 308000 and it still has the original clutch in it.. You did not tell us why you wanted to do this change? I suspect the trans has a problem and you do not want to rebuild it. So Another problem you might look at is the trans shop is not telling you the truth. a speed sensor will make these cars not shift or shift improperly.. Check all the sensors first. These are normolly very good trans you might consider installing a used unit from a wrecked car.

I have a 1999 e 320 benz and need to know how to replace waterpump

if your car over 65000 km done or after last trans service is it have been done over 65000 km from last trans service as a first thing do the trans service with trans mission flush, trans mission flush is very important, it must get done by right place who have the right flushing machine for mercedes trans flushing, it's take 12 Ltr transmission oil + transmission oil filter+ oil pan gasket+ pilot bush, you must ask them to replace all those things this trans service is very important for Mercedes 5 speed automatic transmission, please get genuine Mercedes parts only don't use any aftermarket stuff for this particular transmission, and also need to check transmission control unit, the reason is if you do not trans mission service at right time pilot bush starting to oil leaking, that oil flow through wiring to transmission control unit and it's get wet by oil, if it's get wet by oil it's not functioning properly so can play transmission, other thing is if any thing dose not work for solve your problem you must get it to authorized Mercedes transmission technician to check it can be faulty oil pump or torque converter, I would like to note one more important thin regarding this matter, before do any thing please check transmission oil condition its could be mixed with water, if the oil like milky, it's water in oil, if it's like that you must replace the radiator and trans flush as I note above this is very important for your problem, is this information helped you?

The transmission does not change gears stays in first

first check trans mission oil level in your car, for do that you can't do it your self, you must get it in to the Mercedes workshop, because only Mercedes work shop have the right dipstick for check transmission oil, and also check, is it due for service, one thing I can note for your consideration. one impotent thing can occurred to make trouble in your transmission control, if you not done the trans mission at right time? it's can oil leaking from pilot bush, if pilot bush leaking that oil can flow through wiring to transmission control unit, if oil flow in to the control unit it can be faulty, best way to check those things you must have to get your car to the experiences Mercedes technician then he know how to do that, otherwise if do some thing wrong it would be harm to the electronic controlled trans mission control system, some time could be some thing else wrong, without diagnose hard to say exactly what's the wrong, is this information helped you?
