How to install the renault kangoo 1.4 petrol 2005 Auxiliary belt? is there a diagram for it?
Go ahead
Thanks, this was very very helpful
Yes. Diagram right for 2004 kangoo 1400. I fed the belt around top pulleys and around main crank pulley and simply put a 13mm spanner on the tensioner, turned it clockwise and put a +-12Mm metal rod on the inside of the tensioner to keep it open and then at leasure with minor effort slid the belt over the air con pulley last.
Still took a little swearing and discomfort to figure out the method.
Also I made a hook with a 30cm handle out of stiff wire and that helped me to position the belt.
I am so glad. Getting mechanic out to the farm would have been costly. I paid R240.00 for a serpentine belt.
It is a job a D.I.y. guy can do.
I made 2
Ramps with some bricks and wood and drove the car up to make access space from below. I had easy access to the tensioner from below with both front wheels raised by 15cm
Cool. Don't give up. The job is doable
