Firing order diagram for 2002 tahoe. cylinfer 3 is misfiring. not sure which cylinder is 3

You have managed to mix up the firing order. Wrong plug wires to wrong cylinders

Code P0307 is 'Cylinder 7 - misfire detected'. Standing with the engine belts nearest to you, looking along the top of the engine. Cylinder 7 is positioned on the Right side of the engine, (Bank Two), furthest away from you. (See attached image).

4 cylinders fire 1342. set

This was all I could come with, hope it helps.

The firing order is 1-2-3-4-5-6 but it uses direct ignition so it has a coil for each spark plug.
The cylinders on the passenger side are 1-3-5 and the driver side is 2-4-6.

Here is the firing order. It shows the cylinders and relationship to front of vehicle

CYLINDER NUMBER 5 IS STANDING IN FRONT OF VECHICLE IT WILL BE THE 5 CYLINDER COUNTING FRONT TO THE BACK CYLINDERS IS IN ORDER 1 2 3 4 5 6 THAT YOUR CYLINDER ORDER. YOU HAVE A INLINE 6 CYLINDER ENGINE.YOUR MISS FIRE COULD BE THE COIL - SPARK PLUG - CLOGGED OR FAULTY FUEL INJECTOR. ALSO INTAKE MANIFOLD VACUUM LEAK OR SLIGHT HEAD GASKET LEAK WILL CAUSE MISFIRE.

1-4-2-5-3-6
