Possible that the thermostat relay is struck, the control unit is faulty or the thermistor is faulty.
You will have to disconnect the line to the thermistor to confirm if the fan stops, if not the relay unit. If the fan stops the relay unit is faulty and if the thermistor made the fan stop it must be changed.
either low on gas ,or a fault with the flaps?? check the pipes in and out just behind the bulkhead where the ac pipes goe through and their should be a restrictor valve that only allows a small amout of gas through and this causes the cold ,check these pipes ,one should be hot and the other cold ,if when you start up they are correct then nothing then its a faulty restrictor valve ,or the compressor ,if they stay hot and cold then its a problem with the heater controls or the clima computer if it has one ,also check the fan is coming on when the ac is turned on because if its not then its not cooling the gas in the rad and it will shut off the pump ,then it will not cool ,just like you describe

1. Fuel tank empty.
2. Battery discharged.
3. Battery terminal connections loose or corroded.
4. Leaking fuel injectior(s), faulty fuel pump, pressure regulator, etc.
5. Fuel not reaching fuel rail or TBI unit.
6. Ignition components damp or damaged.
7. Worn faulty or incorrectly gapped spark plugs.
8. Broken, loose or disconnected wiring in the starting circut.
9. Broken, loose or disconnected wires at the ignition coil or faulty coil. 10. Broken timing Chain.
11. Engine coolant temperature sensor defective.
12. Crankshaft postition sensor defective.
Are there som wather on you tank.
Are there temp diffrens on in and out of hous on your inner radiator inside te car. Can be som fault on your vather valve. lose hos on valv and se if the
valv is regulating.Kontroll that ther coming curent to the valv.be mesurrue.
Mesurre also the curent out of clima controll unit.
Until you fix the problem, you should remove the fuse. The battery will run down !!
This problem is most likely caused by theBCM (Body Control Module). The BCM is located inside. It is behind the fuses and has lots of connections. After you remove the BCM note of the Part Number P/N. The replacement BCM must have the same part number. From all my research you can get a new one for from $800 to $1500 or get one from a salvage yard for $10 -$50.
Write down the odometer readings before you change this unit. The replacement unit may have a different mileage showing.
When you install the BCM make sure everything works. Try doors, windows, air, fan, remote, turn signals, hazard, lights, backup lights, horn, brakes, dash lights, etc, etc. This unit controls a number of functions and will have to "learn" your vehicle.
And yes, it's a good idea to disconnect the battery ground cable before replacing the unit.
u mihgt have a short somewhere,even if u have a bad connection u can have all kinds of problems,do u think u mite have pinched a wire somewhere?double check all connections on battery and starter wires.if u can install a good battery to see if it mite make a differents.let me know what happens GOOD LUCK.
I have a 318i and my climate control is faulty one sec it will be on then it shuts off then it may or may not come back on. and i noticed around the time that started happening my right blinker would start flicking erratically. just hoping for a little info.
