If your belts are squealing it is the drive belt/belts that need attention not the timing belt. You need to check your belt tension and condition and replace as needed. If a timing belt ever got to the point that it might squeal the car would not run because it would be too far out of time. Your belts will all be external whereas at timing belt is internal and a major part of the engine.

After how many kilometres approximately should the timing belt be replaced on a hyundai sante fe jeep?

normal recommended practice is 100,000 km but can last up to 127k-160 but would not leave it for that long as a broken belt will cost more than to replace one before time.

How do I change the pulley on my 01 sante fe v6? I know it has an automatic tensioner but I don't know how to take the serp belt off to change the pulley.

Tell you what... No response, then I can't help. If you're talking about the accessory drive belt tensioner pully, there are two 12mm bolts which mount it to the engine. You'll need a 3/8's drive ratchet (or other 3/8's drive device) to release the tension so you can remove the accy drive belt to facilitate removal of the tensioner pully. Once you're remove the accy drive belt, remove the two (2) 12mm bolts holding the tensioner pully to the engine (make visual note of position/direction of the drive belt when you do this because you'll need to position the drive belt in the same orientation when you install a new auto-tensioner in place of the old one.).
