Question about 1994 Mercedes-Benz S-Class
I have the same problem with my 600sel '92. ( New wire harness , new mafs , cleand everything , checked every sensor , still no result. )
I'm thinking the problem is relayed to the catalyst system on the exhaust. So these days i will take the exhaust off and see what happens. My car's ASR turns on when i start it. The catalyst , when old , the car goes into fault mode because the engine is strangeling.... Check that!

You should not have an OVP relay. Few things to check. Find your computer for the ASR and see if the fuse is blown on it. Also make sure there is slack in the accelerator cable, if it is snug it will initiate a limp home mode. Also replace all barrel fuses with copper ended fuses and clean corrosion out of the fuse box. When you find the ASR module if the fuse is good in it and with all that does not reset it, replace module and check rear end sensor and front wheel speed sensors.
