try checking for a short to power on ur 12 volt comming into motor also check for a good ground at the plug for ur wiper motor

3 boxes so I remember, one under rear seat, one under drivers side of dash and one next to suspension leg in engine bay.
Fuses are VERY common on the E34 series, this is normally cause by the door connecting looms.
Firstly open each door, you will see a fat loom that you can twist unlock to expose all the pins. Spray them with WD40 then apply a smear of Silicone Grease to all 4 door looms.
Then go over all 3 boxes and replace every blown fuse.
This should sort it for you

Bmw E34s have a big fuse right after the battery that protects the car electrical harnesses.
Failure syndromes:
• Intermittent simultaneous falure of wipers, sunroof, windows, central locking, radio...
• No power, like if the battery was dead.
525i Procedure
Tools/Parts Required:
1. Disconnect the battery.
2. Open the fusible link box.
3. Remove the 4 x 10mm screws and change the fusible links.
4. Installation is reverse of removal.
