How do I open the trunk on an S-type when the battery is completely dead? I have no lights, no noises, nothing. Replaced the battery 2 weeks ago. Must have parasitic drain somewhere, but I need to get to the battery first.

isnt the 911s engine in the rear? if so have the parts guy try to find the starter on the engine..see if the solenoid is there acessible..you may be able to power it up long enough to get it opened up..
Hi, That relay probably controls the car's lighting. See if there's another one near it in the fuse panel - like for the AC or similar. Try it. Or go to a wrecking yard or parts store and buy one.
And yes, you could have factory alarm system.....do some Google searches on Windstar alarm.
