1991 Accord battery light on (fuses/alternator ok): suggestions?

1991 Honda Accord: While driving, battery light came on, instrument lights and activity ceases, and engine began to stumble. All fuses intact and operational (80A alternator fuse not compromised, and replacement had no effect). Alternator removed and bench tested as fully functional. Suggestions, please?

1991 honda accord turns over wont start . when key in second postion no lights on dash exept for battery light

blown fuse.
the CEL lamp must glow, or the ECU is dead. (no power)
the CEL is very important lamp telling you the ECU has power
and it thinks(sic) that it is ok, (basics)
if the lamp is burned out, it become hard to work the ECU.
as this ECU flashes codes for errors,
check all fuse. in both boxes.

1: the Alternator fan belt broke off,or is loose or shredded,
2: the Alternator is bad.
3: the corroded, battery lug deal, (service skipped)\
just 3, there are more.

check all fuses in the cab box and in the engine bay fuse box.

Where is the main fuse box of signal lights and stop lights of a 1991 honda accord 4 cilinder.

HI. This vehicle contains a under the hood relay box near the front corner of the battery(which is labeled if not deteriorated), and there is also a fuse container box located below the left side of the instrument panel, as well(inside the vehicle on driver side).

The under-hood fuse box generally contains fuses and relays for engine and major electrical systems such as air conditioning, headlights (left and right respectively), fuel injection components, etc. The in-car fuse-box holds fuses for the cabin circuits such as wipers, cigarette lighter, rear defogger, signal lights etc.

89 Honda Accord Battery Light is On

The FuseLink is blown. It is a 100 AMP in-line fuse on the red wire from the alternator.

I have a 91 honda accord and the front blinker lights stay solid when I'm driving. When I shut the car off the blinker lights still stay on and it's draing my battery. Any suggestions? Thanks

Check the flasher relay (usally silver metal color "fuse" the size of a bite size candy bar, it could be square or round). It could have gone bad and is shorting out causing them to stay on

My 1991 Honda Accord will turn over but will not start battery light flashes on but doesn t stay on. It has been suggested that it might be the alternator and the distributor. Is this right?

is it turning over normally or slower, have u got a spark, fuel ,if turing slow poss battery/poor connection in the earth,if turning ok check spark if none then check distirbutor,if ok check fuel.

Charging problem

Possible solution. It could be the belt tensioner. It might not hold the belt tight enough to have a consistent charge to the battery through the alternator. I had to replace the one on my 91 accord and that solved my problem.

'91 honda accord battery light on with new battery.

either your alternator has gone or your fan belt is not there which helps the alternator to charge the battery get a volt meter on your alternator to see if it is kicking out what it should be
