2001 Chevy Silverado brake caliper not releasing.

Lots of video help in the link. Some vehicles have a shim kit which you have to buy as an extra part kit. Mine does.

Loud noise burning smell

Most likely a belt problem or a worn out tensioner. You left off the year, make, model and engine so it's a guessing gamet. Read this post on how to track down the source of noise

Squealing noise while driving

Did you check the rest of the U-joints. If you have a hanger bearing, you should have a 2 piece drive shaft and thus 3 more U-joints that could be bad.

The squeel is more then likely the clutch fan. It has a bearing that turns with the motot and when it slipps it squeels

2006 chevy silverado 1500 front brakes are squeeking

on disc brakes there is a metal marker on them that when the pads get low on material it will make a squeeling noise to let you know its time to change the pads.. so I would say you are in need of front pads also even though they look good you are getting low.. this marker is designed to let you know its time before you get to metal to metal .. jerry

Squealing in the front end of my silverado

It sounds like loose belts but i also would check the front drive shaft. It has a reversed boot and they can be destroyed and you never know if you do not look.

Loud sqoeeking noise when turning front wheels

is it a squeeking or a squeeling....

If it is a squeeking noise, take the car to have every thing on the front suspention lubed up, is possible it is dried out.

If it is a squeeling noise, then that means you need a new drive belt.
