How do i replace my headlamp in my ford focus?

Do you know what a wiring diagram is for ? How to use a DVOM - digital volt ohmeter to test electrical circuit's ? None of the headlamps work ? hi or lo beams ? Free wiring diagrams here http://www.bbbind.com/free-tsb Enter vehicle info. Year , make , model an engine size. Under system click on lighting , then under subsystem click on headlamps . Click the search button then the blue link . Looking at the diagram i see fuse's light switch , multifuction switch , relay's - hi & lo an the headlamp assembly's .

Fuse #7, a 10A fuse, is for the left low beam headlamp.
Fuse #8, a 10A fuse, is for the right low beam headlamp.
Fuse #23, a 15A fuse, is for the high beam headlamp.

faulty earth wire on the wiring cluster for the heat light check with a meter and fix the earthing point.

Removal and Installation

1. Remove the radiator grille. For additional information, refer to Section 501-08.

1. NOTE: There is a blind metal snap located on the lower outboard side of the headlamp assembly that is disengaged by pulling upwards on the headlamp assembly.
   Remove the 3 bolts and the headlamp assembly.
   • Disconnect the electrical connectors.

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
   • If necessary, adjust the headlamps. For additional information, refer to Headlamp Adjustment in this section.

have u checked to see if the bulbs are ok

If you're just replacing the bulb, you access it from the rear of the headlight assembly. Just sqeeze the nylon locking device, and turn it counter clock wise, then pull the bulb out, and replace.

Hello, on your model they are quick release headlamps your find two securing bolts behind the headlamp then you can change the headlamp bulb.

US Focus has one headlamp attachment that you have to raise car on hoist to remove it.

Headlamp Assembly Removal

1. Remove the fender splash shield lower retaining screw.
   • Push the fender splash shield to one side.

1. Remove the headlamp assembly lower retaining bolt.

1. Remove the headlamp assembly.
   • Disconnect the headlamp assembly electrical connector.
