This is the only diagram I could find for tail-lamps. The top wires are voltage, the bottom wire is ground. The brown color wire is voltage for tail lamps. The other color wire is turn or stop, depending. The turn and lower brake lites use the same bulb filament, just not at the same time. The lower brake lites are wired through turn signal switch. I don't know if diagram matches what you have? I looked at several, all showed the same thing.

check fuse number 7 in Engine Compartment Fuse Box , if its ok you need change turn signal switch

Both bulbs have to be new. They can't be different ages. Change the flasher as well.

Replace the bulb(s). Tail light bulbs have more than one filament. One is for the brakes and one is for the turn signals. The reverse light is a light all by itself. When the filament for the turn signal goes out the brakes will still all light up, but the turn signal will not.

Hello. The symptoms you are describing are likely due to a poor ground. Temporarily install a new ground wire by securing a piece of copper wire to the frame with a self tapping screw. Use this ground wire along with the hot wire to see if each of these lights works. If it does, trace the ground wire back to the frame, unscrew it and clean up the metal with emery cloth so you reestablish a good ground.

Fuse panel is under the dash also as I have found with my own graceful daughter, there is a brake light switch that connects to the brake pedal itself. It is hard to get to and even harder to see but a lot of times these switches get bumped and they can not make connection when the brake pedal is depressed. Hope this helps
Replacing tail/brake/backup lights and turn signal bulbs (coupe)
1. Make sure the headlamp control
is in the OFF position and then
open the hatchback.
2. From inside the luggage
compartment remove the wing nut
of the rear light assembly cover.
3. Using a Phillips screw driver
remove the screw. The lamp is still
retained by a spring loaded clip.
Remove by gently pulling out the
light housing.
4. Turn the bulb socket counterclockwise as far as possible and pull it
out.
5. Pull the bulb straight out of the socket.
Install in reverse order.

hi from uk not too sure on your vehicle however from what you describe re 3 bulbs i would suspect that the one that works is rear tail/running light then one other bulb is the brake/stop light? and the 3rd one may be high intensity/rear fog light ? which will only come on with head lights selected along with rear fogs same being with front fogs if fitted ? and obviously the brake light bulb only operates with ignition and b/pedal pressed ? you will req ignition on to check operation of all these lights
