My peugeot 307 has really bad lights when on dip. I recently replaced the bulbs with new 'super bright' ones from halfords, and they worked really well. But now they are so dull on dip that it's got to the point where i can't drive at night unless there are street lamps. the lights don't seem to be light up much of the road? like they're not angled far enough? but like i say on main beam they are brilliant?!
any ideas would be really appreciated
The reflectors and/or the lenses are poor. if the lamps look frosted on the lenses? i think they are plastic then they get tiny chips and can reduce the light output. polish them with a mild abrasive like tcut or brasso till they look like glass again other than that you may have a electrical problem

SOURCE: "when do i change the cam belt on a peugeot 307 sw diesel"
usually you should do it for peugeot diesel at 122000 miles along with water pump and the tensioner roller that runs under the cambelt too. But to be on the safe side do it at 100000 and save the fortune.
It took me (DIY job) about 6-8 hours as i wanted to save 450 pounds.

peugeot and citreon cars do bite high generaly, it is hydaulic there is no adjustment. but it also depends on how high it is ?? does it slip if you slightly rest your foot on whilst driving?? they do have a problem with the bearings going through the cover as it is the same bearing as a HDI . but you woud notice this as a different problem. ie noise or vibration on pedal. call me for more info .. paul @ the clutch centre..01527 64440 07790438337
