Is it easy to replace the belt on the Eziset 550? Do I just have to loosen one of the pulleys?

  1. Unplug the washing machine and turn off the water supply.
  2. Remove the back panel of the washing machine.
  3. Locate the drive belt around the drum and motor pulleys.
  4. Loosen the motor mounting bolts and adjust the motor position to relieve tension on the belt.
  5. Remove the old belt from the pulleys.
  6. Install the new belt on the pulleys, making sure it is properly aligned.
  7. Adjust the motor position to tension the belt.
  8. Tighten the motor mounting bolts.
  9. Reinstall the back panel.
  10. Plug in the washing machine and turn on the water supply.
Note that the specific steps may vary slightly depending on the model of the Eziset 550 washing machine. It's always a good idea to consult the manufacturer's instruction

My washing machine keeps on cutting off.

Hello
If your washing machine is cutting off after only running for a few seconds, it could be due to a few different issues:
  1. Overloading: If you have too many clothes in the drum, it can put too much strain on the motor and cause it to shut off. Remove some clothes and try again.
  2. Clogged pump: If there is an object stuck in the pump or the pump filter is clogged, it can cause the machine to shut off. Clean the pump and filter to see if this resolves the issue.
  3. Overheating: If the motor is overheating, it will shut off to protect itself. Wait for the motor to cool down and then try again.
  4. Malfunctioning motor control board: If the motor control board is damaged, it may cause the machine to shut off. Have a professional diagnose and repair the issue.
If you're hearing a slipping noise from the belt, it could indicate that the belt is loose or worn and needs to be replaced. This can also cause the machine to shut off if the belt is slipping too much. If you're not familiar with repairing washing machines, I would recommend contacting a professional for assistance.

My hotpoint washing machine mod WWSR1070D5WW is making a loud squealing noise but I cant tell if the sound is coming from the clutch or the transmission any ideas?

look at the drive belt, it might be worn out
To test, just put some tar all along the inner face of the belt and run it
If noise goes off, , most surely the belt need replacement

My VUE is an AWD with 3.5 liter engine. I have a slight squeal that only happens at between 2100 - 2300 rpms. It sounds like a pulley or belt, but happens at only those rpms in every gear while under...

Hi,
You can buy 'belt dressing' @ the auto parts store. Spray it on each belt pulley and check for the noise. You can 'load' the engine by putting into gear, holding the brake w/the left foot and applying the throttle - DO THIS IN A SAFE LOCATION WITH NOTHING IN FRONT OF THE CAR.

Once you discover WHICH belt is squealing it likely needs adjusted or replaced.

How do you change a serpentine belt on a Saturn SL2 1999? Thanks!

open the hood and find the little shiny silver decal stuck on top the radiator mount. this shows you what tool to use and where to put it on the tensioner pulley. move it in accordance with the motion arrow, the belt will then become loose, you take belt off any other pulley and then release the tensioner. put new belt on in reverse order. helps to take off the right front wheel and get in through the access panel when you put the new belt on the bottom pulley. if the tensioner itself has never been changed, good idea to spend 50 bucks and replace it as the spring load tends to weaken with age, like all springs.

for future reference i have never looked under the hood of a car with a serpentine belt that did not have a decal or stick on showing how the belt is put on.

I need to know how to put my serpentine belt back on?

So you have it off now . Did you replace the belt tenisioner at this point this would be a vary good idea its a ware part and sooner or later will need it . Look at the front of the tenisinor under the pulley there is a square slot you can put a 3/8s extention for a 3/8s scoket wrench in this slot and hook it to the 3/8s drive wrench and push the tenisioner to the middle of the engine its spring loaded then you will be able to put the belt over the pulley on the tenisiner and then relese the force from the scoket wrench . You just to do the belting routing correctly but there should be a decail that will show you this somewhere under the hood if not you can ask the dealer it olny fits one way and needs to be a tight fix

How do you tighten the fan belt?

Focuses use an automatic belt tensioner which has no adjustment (as its spring loaded) if your belt is not tight enough replacement of the tensioner could be necessary..if you're asking due to a squealing problem check the pulley on the tensioner and the idler pulley..they are a common part to need changing

My a/c stopped working, we charged it and that still did not solve the issue. Turns out the a/c belt had come off at some point and thats why it quit working. Problem now is, we have no idea how th eold...

You need to check the pulley for your ac and make sure that it still turns freely, sometimes they lock up and that is what will throw the belt. But you have to take the belt in front off first then put that one on it only goes from the harmonic ballancer to the ac. but you would need to make sure the tensioner works and that is not locked up as well

1992 Dodge Dynasty 3.3l installing serpentine belt

They do make a belt tensioner tool that is flat....stays out of the way better than a wrench or socket..
Was this the belt that came off this engine?
Is the belt the correct length?
It should just fit on easily.
Is the rest of the belt fully seated in the other pulleys?
Sometimes you put the belt on the tensioner pulley before finishing by installing the belt onto a/the flat idler stationary pulley last....then release the tensioner.
