BMW 2002 X5 Battery Drain

I am having the same problem with my 2002 X5. There is a motor or fan running behind the AC control panel on the dash and if I pull fuse 48 it stops and the battery doesn't drain. Still looking for the cause and solution so that I don't have to keep pulling and installin fuse 48. BMW garage suggested that it was the Final Stage Blower Resistor. I replaced this and no change. I hope someone has an answer that will help us both.

The blower on my 03 x5 is running constantly and running down the battery

Locate the resistor in the Blower system...this has to be defective to allow current to continue to the Blower after the Key is off...Your parts store might be able to help you locate. Hope this helps.

Front AC blower stop working on my BMW X5 2003

If you do not run even one level of performance as the needed engine control unit, check fuses! If they are okay, the fan is defective! is a frequent defect no only X5 E53 series

My bmw x5 vents are not working, it is quite tempermental it works some times, can you please help

If the blower for the vents turns on and off at will, then the finals stage for the blower has failed.
This controls the blower speed, its located on the right side of heater box under the dash.
Google x5 final stage.
