Trunk Lights Out.. I've checked the bulbs and fuses and bother are all ok. Is there something else I can do to make this work? All fuses in the door panel area of the right side of the car and all working and not blown out and I replaced the bulbs and still no juice. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanx!

There is a switch in the trunk , with a voltmeter or trouble light check for battery voltage both sides of the switch, voltage both sides faulty bulb or bad earth, voltage one side faulty switch, no voltage, blown fuse faulty connection or broken cable.

Ford laser sedan kj lxi 95 model break lights need to be replaced

are both brake lights not working ? if so very unusual for both to go at same time so i'd check the fuse , fuse box lower dash drivers side lid/door will have list , if ok open the trunk and at the rear of the light clusters remove the brake bulbs, there will most likely be some sort of trim, carpet or even a small access panel to remove first,if bulb's are ok then it must be the switch which is located at the top of the brake pedal, easy to adjust disconect the wire from top of switch and turn switch anti clockwise one complete turn , refit wire and check if bulbs working , if not repeat the adjustment

2001 cadillac dts trunk gas lid door lock backup

These devices are on separate fuses - the fuel access door and the trunk release are on the same fuse, and the backup lights, the inside rearview mirror and park assist are on the other fuse. So, if you don't have any issues with these other devices, you have two separate problems to check. The only thing these two symptoms have in common is the wiring harness between the rear fuse block and them, so you may have a wiring problem (severed wires) there.
I would suggest first checking the fuses anyway (under the rear seat) and measuring the voltage at each of the device's connectors in the trunk. If those check out, you probably have burned out bulbs and a sticky door actuator. You have to remove the entire rear license plate bezel to get at the bulbs, and you can check the manual release on the door to see if the solenoid is ceased.

I have a 93 4-door grandmarquis. The brake lights dont work and the gear shift is loose, are they tied together? How do i get the brake lights fixed ?I already tried fuses...

You can check the brake light bulbs by removing the covers in the trunk, which may or may not be hidden behind a trunk lining. If there is a lining, simply pull it back and remove the protective cover and pull each bulb out and check for broken bulb wires or black burnt marks on the tips of each bulb.

For a car that’s over 20 years in age, I would say bulbs need replaced. For the dash though, check the “bright/dim” adjust for the dash lights to make sure it wasn’t turned to the off position.

Brake lights stopped working. Running lights ok,

Check the plug in the socket. There are 2 contacts in there one may be bad or shorting out.
