You used the ignition key to turn the red button and now neither inside or outside will open the door? It is broken, you need an auto locksmith to jimmi the door and fix whatever has come adrift inside the door panel.
The driver's door normally contains the central locking module and also the solenoid that opens and closes the lock for that door. That doesn't explain why the passenger door also doesn't lock. Also check the fuse, although, it it hums, it is getting power. The only way is to remove the door panel and check.
I suggest you get one of those manuals people get nowadays to
do it yourself.. My brother use it to repair my car and it's totally repaired now. he got it from. www.reliable-store.com
typical french car,it has a plastic clip that if someone slams the door it breaks and you need to remove the interior door panel/inner skin(plastic)to get to it (the clips on the door will break off.)the clip runs between the door handle and the operating mechanism.
Did you manage to sort out your problem?? I have exactly the same problem, with exactly the same door. I have scanned the internet for a solution to the problem, but with no luck. If you did find out how to sort it please post your answer . Thanks :))
