Power Window problem sebring sedan 2001

Problem: Power windows will not operate from each individual door. All power windows can only be controlled from the driver control panel. I think the problem is in the window lock switch?

It could be possible that the window switches on each side as gone bad or possibly you have a shortage dnt know how exactly to pin point the shortage without an amp or voltage tool..but if the master window switch is working fine then yes you do have a shortage or bad switches but while you are at it check all window fuses

My Windows in a 2008 mountaineer won't roll down. I've checked all the fuses and the master switch and the door lock still works except the passengers side door won't lock it acts like it's jammed

Principles of Operation
Power Window Operation The power window system operates under the control of the accessory delay relay. The smart junction box (SJB) grounds the relay coil to provide power to the power window system.
The power window system can be operated from the LH front window control switch or from the window control switches located on each door panel. The LH front window control switch has 2 modes of operation for the LH front power window, manual and auto. All other windows operate in the manual mode only.
Manual mode moves the window downward until the switch is released. The LH front power window will operate in the manual mode when the LH front window control switch is pressed to the first detent position.
Auto mode provides the one-touch down (OTD) feature for the LH front power window. The OTD function allows the LH front power window to be completely lowered when the LH front window control switch is pressed to the second detent position and then released. OTD is controlled by the LH front window control switch.
The power window system will only operate if:
  • the ignition is in the RUN or ACC position.
  • the accessory delay feature is in the active mode.

All power windows not working 2008 saturn outlook ?

Which of these does your vehicle have ?
Power Windows Description and Operation (W/O AXC/AXE)
Power Windows Description and Operation (RPO AXC/AXE)

Do you know what a RPO code is ?
http://www.gmc4x4.com/topic/305-deciphering-the-glovebox-rpo-codes
http://www.rpocodes.com/rpotaglocations.html

Need to know which one because one is basic an the other has electronic modules involved , driver door module , BCM - body control module , passanger door module etc..... Both power window circuit's use a circuit breaker an not a fuse . Would not think that being the problem . Broken wire's inside the flex boot from the body to the door maybe.

Power Windows Malfunction (AXC/AXE)

The front and rear power windows are controlled by the driver door module (DDM) and front passenger door module (PDM). The DDM and PDM each contain power window switches that are integrated into the module. The DDM contains the master power window switches that control all power window operations. The power window switch contained in the PDM controls the front passenger window operation only.
When the driver power window switch is activated to a desired position, the DDM examines the request and checks for messages from other vehicle control modules prohibiting window movement. If no prohibitive messages have been received, the DDM will send a serial data message to the driver door window motor to move the window to the desired position.
When the DDM receives a request to operate the right side passenger windows from the master switch, a serial data message is sent to the PDM. The PDM examines the request and checks for messages from other vehicle control modules prohibiting the window movement. If no prohibitive messages have been received, the PDM will send a serial data message to the appropriate window motor to move the window as requested.
When the DDM receives a request to operate a rear window from the master switch, a serial data message is sent to the BCM. The BCM examines the request and checks for messages from other vehicle control modules prohibiting the window movement. If no prohibitive messages have been received, the BCM will send a serial data message to the appropriate rear window switch which will command the window motor as requested.

Power Windows Malfunction (Except AXC/AXE)
Circuit/System Description
The power window system will operate any time the ignition is in the ACC or RUN position. The power window system will also operate whenever the body control module (BCM) is in the retained accessory power (RAP) mode. The driver power window switch contains individual window switches for each of the power windows. All windows may be controlled up and down from the driver master control. The individual passenger power window switches will only control the up and down operation of their respective power window.
Each power window contains a reversible power window motor. The direction the window travels is dependent upon the polarity of the supply voltage. By reversing polarity of the supply voltage the window motor will move up or down. Each power window motor is internally circuit breaker protected.
Battery voltage is supplied to each power window switch through the accessory voltage supply circuit. The power window switch also receives a constant ground source. The power window motor control circuits are connected to ground through the normally closed up and down contacts of the power window switch. When the power switch is placed in the down position, the power window motor down control circuit is switched to 12 volts and is applied to the down side of the power window motor. Since the other side of the power motor is connected to ground through the normally closed contacts of the up switch, the window travels down. By placing the power window switch in the up position, the polarity of the power window motor is reversed and the window travels up.

2001 Pontiac Bonneville Power locks and power windows dont work

Your power windows an door locks are controlled by a door module .
The vehicle is equipped with power windows controlled by the door modules. Each passenger door power window can be operated, either from a switch built into the driver door switch assembly (DDSA), or from a switch mounted locally on its associated door. The driver door power window can only be operated from the driver door window switch built into the driver door switch assembly (DDSA).
When the driver door module (DDM) receives a window switch request from the DDSA, the DDM checks the Class 2 serial data to see if the status information is correct (i.e. ignition switch position) to permit window operation to occur. If the status information is correct, the DDM, either supplies power and ground to its associated window motor, or, if the request is for one of the passenger windows, sends a command via the power door serial data circuit to the passenger door module (PDM, LRDM, or RRDM) controlling the window. The passenger door module (PDM, LRDM, or RRDM) controlling the window then supplies power and ground to its associated window motor to move the window as requested.
When one of the local window switches mounted on one of the passenger doors is operated, the associated door module examines the request and checks to see if there are any messages from the DDM prohibiting the movement. If conditions are correct, and no prohibitive messages have been received from the DDM, the associated door module then supplies power and ground to its associated window motor to move the window as requested.
Your best bet would be to take your vehicle to a qualified repair shop !

Back side window of 2006 sebring won't go up how do I fix it?

Try operating the window with both the driver's window switch, and the rear door window switch.

When operating window with rear door window switch help up, bang the door around the mid section and see if this frees the winder motor in that door. If it does, this would indicate a failing motor (replace). If it doesn't then strip door, and check for power to the motor when operating switch. If power is present, then replace the motor.

Passenger window on my 2001 chrysler sebring sedan will not go up or down. What could it be and does each window have a seperate fuse? Thank you

Have you had your windows down in a rain storm, ecspecially the driverside,if so you may need to replace the window controls on the driverside. One fuse should operate all window motors.if the fuse is good then it may be the motor on the passenger side went out and may just need replaced.

The driver door power window can only be operated from the switch built into the DDSA.
