What you describe here leads me to believe blown head gasket. Check radiator coolant level, then do a compression test on all four cylinders. You should have 115-150 compression in each cylinder. If your reading is down to about 25-75 on two of your cylinders. you will have your answer. If the car is still worth keeping change the head gasket and get another two years of driving.GOOD LUCK FRIEND.
The camshaft position sensor on a 2000 Dodge Neon is located at the end of the cylinder head. It's the black plastic part with an electrical connector on it. Please refer to your owner's manual for more information. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- super vag k can v4.8
If i understood your question correctly, the piston rings, usually 3 of them, keep the oil (from the crankcase) from entering the combustion chamber, where the spark plug fires.
These codes are codes regarding failure. The code P0300 means repeated Engine Misfiring. The code P0303 means Repeated Misfiring of Cylinder Number 3.
Kindly contact a technician to get both checked. Their Heads must have been misplaced or broken due to misfiring.
Thank you sir, Have a nice day.
It maybe a cracked head or head gasket or cracked block. Ask your friends for help (those with mechanical abilities) or take it to a shop. Make sure you don;t get water/ antifreeze in the oil or your whole engine will be toast.
Pull the spark plugs. the one with the cleaner/ whiter insulator is probably the bad cylinder.
