I had the same problem with my 2004 Jeep Cherokee and took it to a mechanic. They said that 2 wires had broke in 3 of my doors causing the loss of power in the doors. They fixed it for me, but it was pretty price at around 300 :(

Power windows stopped working and dome lights stay on. Power locks work only with the "clicker" but not on driver door

Look under the hood fuse no. 12 should be for power windows. Or maybe something like a bad ground wire in drivers door harness.

2004 jeep grand cherokee larado....power windows and door locks don't work....and inside light stay on while driving

I had this problem in December with my car its a ground wire that runs through the drive side door. with labor it cost me about $90 for my mechanic to fix it. Its a defect in the design, the wiring runs through the door so over time all the open and closoing of the door loosens the wire and it pops off. I would look into that as your problem.

My 2004 jeep grand cherkee nothing works on the drivers door. power windows and locks and mirriors dont work. Yesterday dome light would not go out today it wont light when drivers door open but will come...

Wiring Loom between door and body breaks internally. Take the car to an Auto Electrician and they can repair the loom. It is quite a common problem.

Have a 2004 Cherokee. The electric windows do not work, the electric doors don't lock (except for drives side) and dome light wont shut off

if memory serves right that jeep has a built in door lock module in the door that goes bad.
if you have a scanner you can check for codes

POWER LOCKS,WINDOWS NOT WORKING.DIMMER LIGHT SWITCH IN ANY POSITION BRINGS CABIN LIGHT ON AND STAYS ON....FOREVER!

That sounds to me like your door trigger wire or trigger is bad. Look for some kind of button that gets pressed inside when the door closes. Often times door driggers only have 1 wire which may rest at power OR ground and sends the opposite signal when the door closes in turn causing your dome light to turn on/chime to ring. I'm making the assumption that the lock wont work because the vehicle thinks the door is open. Just my electrical theory.

Power windows dont work and dome light stays on

It has to be a broken wire! Initially, I lost the door locks & power to the windows ONLY when the drivers door was open. When I closed the door, the problem went away. Finally, I had the problem all the time. I checked for 12 vdc at the switch in the drivers door and there was NO POWER. In the rubber boot (between the car & door) I found the grey wire (with a pink stripe) was broken internally but the INSULATION WAS NOT!!!

Dome light stays on, power windows don't work... 1999 Jeep

Check for a broken 12V+ or broken ground wire in the rubber boot that goes from the drivers door to the hinge pillar. Had this problem on mine and found both wires broken from years of flexing when door opened and closed. Don't try to splice the break, as the wire is too short and is also brittle. Run new (same guage) wire through the boot and splice inside the door and under the left side kick panel.
