Jun 5, 2015 - When I put it in drive, and begin to drive away the transmission will put itself in neutral. When I slow back down, it will go back into gear.

Its gear shift issues.

The shifter needs to be inspected. The shifter assembly is got misaligned, it has to be open and realign.

There are many other possibilities. But if it was working right up till now and suddenly this occurred then its shifter assembly alignment issue.

The transmission in that vehicle has been known to have problems and will probably need to be rebuilt or changed in the near future, you can try an automatic transmission conditioner to revitalize the performance, I recomend a product called Lucas transmission conditioner this will help extend the transmission life and help recondition the belts in the transmission.
