Need a fuse diagram for fuses in 2000 malibu - currently seeking for gas gauge and headlights thanks!

Jan 22, 2018 - The engine compartment fuse block is located on the driver's side of the engine compartment, near the air cleaner filter. A.I.R. A.I.R.

There is no fuse and it is a known issue!

Did you check the fuse? Not only check the fuse, check the fuse circuit for voltage, use a test lite.
In the diagram, the top wire at lamp is voltage, bottom wire is ground.

Have you checked your freon level? The compressor will not engauge when the R134 level is too low .More than likely you need to recharge the system after 14 yrs you may have a small seal leak. Try picking up a recharge kit with a gauge attachment. This has worked well for me on my 3 Astros I currently own. Othwise the fuse box is on the drivers side left of the steering column.

this is not a separate fuse. for gauge is gauge fuse. but fuel gauge not working could be gauge in tank for level. if you ground purple wire to ground .. fuel gauge must be at full

Well you've lost power to one or two major circuits. Could be a problem with the key switch or a major fuse in the engine compartment.
I would check the fuses for power and find out which ones are dead then go from there.

sound like your relays are faulty. under the hood on the drivers side is the fuse block. the fuel pump relay is #16 or #18, i dont remember which its been a while since ive looked at it. the fuse/relay diagram should be located under the top cover. also check the fuses located behind the panels inside the car. i believe the gas gauge and daytime light fuses are there also

Sounds like you have a ground problem, i doubt its in the sending units as both gauges are acting strange work, seeing that electricity likes paths of least resistance one gauge could be grounding through another. Bad grounds wreak havoc on electrical systems.

the fuse box should be located under the hood, the box is labeled "FUSES"
