Should take quite a bit more, if you are just changing whats in the radiator probably only a gallon. When a shop does it they run the engine and have it hooked up to a machine that removes all of the old fluid b/c there is still antifreeze in the block if you just drain it.

I want to change a 3.7 motor off of 2004 jeep Liberty 2wd in order to fit my 2002 jeep liberty 4wd?

engine swaps are complex as is mixing engines to wrong transmissions.
so both are 3.7L, is that it?
you never said what exacty didnt fit.
the flex plate to TC
or TC to A/T pump side mismatch.
????????
if its the flex then get the correct flex plate.
or call jeep parts? ask them for the right parts
the side of the trans has the trans part number
my guess is all you need is the correct flex plate for engine to TC.

I have a jeep liberty 2002 changed radiator heater core back flushed at jeep dealer heater works for a while really hot and sometime itj just starts blowing cold air suggestion jeep dealer said sceen keep...

What does your radiator fill tank look like? When is the last time you changed radiator fluid? If you have an oil leak into the radiator, combination produces a jelly like substance that may be what blocks the screen. You may need a radiator flush and refill.

My jeep liberty 2004 overhiting whenever ac it's

Check these 3 things. 1 check antifreeze level and concentration at least 50/50 mixture. 2 make sure engine cooling fan is operating properly. 3 make sure radiator or condenser fins are not dirty and plugged. Sometimes you have to separate them to clean them out good.

Smelling antifreeze through the vents of my 2004 jeep liberty not strong and then it goes away

If you smell antifreeze from the vents the heater core is leaking, you will most likely also have residue on the inside on the windshield

Leaking anti-freeze in Jeep Liberty 2004.

I love my 04 jeep I have replaced the water pump because my anti freeze was leaking..my gasket on my water pump was bad..Then 2 months later again leaking antifreeze, replaced the pump again..then again I ended up having to replace the timing cover because it built up so much pressure that it put pivets in the cover that or because they removed it so many times to replace the pump..thats where i would check first then go from there.

How to drain and refill coolant in a 2004 Jeep 3.7L Liberty?

Im trying to change the antifreeze but it has only one cap on the plastic and not on the raditor would that be a prob when change

Best way to change the antifreeze is to open the petcock at the bottom of the radiator to drain the antifreeze/coolant. Once completely drained close the petcock and refill. Only other way would be to get a flush kit which involves cutting a heater hose, inserting a T and running a garden hose through the system with the radiator open at the bottom through the petcock while the motor is running.
Hope this answers your question. Good luck!

How much and what kind do I need to change the differential fluid also what kind of antifreeze do I need for drain and refill

If you are picking the product up at a major auto parts store, they will be able to tell you. you will need to know, Make, model, engine size, Air Contd, 2wheel or 4 wheel drive. Once they have this they can tell you what the recommended products are and the capacity of each.

Hope this is of some help.
