I believe that you're talking about the weather strips that go into the top of the window slot in the door correct? These will just pop out, they pop out kind of hard. Usually you wreck them getting them out, I use a pliers and grap a portion of them on the end and pull. I would recommend ordering the new ones first, this will give you an idea of how they go in, also you don't have to worry about the window rattling around for a while until they arrive. The ones on the lower portion of the door slide forward or backward to release them, not sure which way... the new ones just slide back into place. LMC has good replacement parts at a good price.

Stuck crank window, drivers side, 97 honda civic

1996-00 Civic 2-doors had a problem with the front windows binding or coming out of the run channel. The window regulator needs replaced and the rubber run channel needs inspected for damage and to make sure its properly seated into the window channels. note: make sure you install the window crank in the 10 o'clock position, so your not tempted to use the window crank as a door handle to pull the door shut. This can break the crank and/or the regulator. -Hope this helps:)

Window jumped off window track

drivers window?
the best way to fix it is to replace the window run channel (rubber the glass slides in) and the regulator. or to get by if the regulator isnt bent take the door panel off, take the door glass out, the front of the run channel inside the door is bent foreward a little bend the metal track to the rear a little by hand, careful its weak, spray the run channel with silicone spray and reinstall the glass. if the run channel is torn it wont last.
