How do I change the battery in my 2000 Buick Lesabre

I have a 2001 Buick LeSabre Limited. Pull up on the rear seat cushion along the front edge. The battery is located under the rear seat. Be sure to connect the vent lines to the new battery. This keeps fumes out of the car, and keeps it from corroding the interior surfaces.

Since the battery is located inside the passenger compartment (under the rear seat), the vent hose is needed to vent the sulfuric acid fumes to the outside of the car - away from the passengers.

Remove Trunk Inner Panel At Rear of trunk and then gently twist the light electrical plugs and replace bulb.....

As you probably know, the battery is located under the rear seat, on the passenger side. So you need to remove the rear seat, disconnect ground (neg) then positive, there are vent tubes to draw fumes produced by battery out of the vehicle, make sure they are not pinched or moved away from the proper location. GM should be ashamed of how they locate the batteries in their cars, it is a real pain to get to them.

I believe the Buick body style is the same for the years 2000 to 2005. The battery for my 2000 Buick LeSabre is under the back seat.

Yes there is a fuse box it is under the back seat where the battery is...I have a 2000 buick lesabre and i have the owners manual to it.
