The valve controlling the flow of coolant to the heater is stuck shut - either the valve itself or the cables controlling it are faulty. You will have to check which yourself.

THE HEAT PROBLEM IS MOST LIKELY TO BE LOW COOLANT WITH THE MOTOR DEAD COLD CHECK COOLANT LEVEL LOOK AROUND INTAKE MANIFOLD SEE IF ANY LEAKS ARE PRESENT FOR THE BLOWER SPEEDS THE BLOWER MOTOR RESISTER IS PROBLEY THE PROBLEM IT WILL BE LOCATED BY THE BLOWER MOTOR
Premixed antifreeze is fine to add as long as the label says for all makes/models. If the coolant level is full, then the problem might be the "blend door" or the actuators that operate them. Since servicing the blend doors or actuators require a better than average knowledge of auto mechanics, I would refer this to a shop that you trust. If the car has a temp gauge and it is reading normal, I doubt the thermostat is bad. You might possibly have a plugged heater core. Not common for a car this new, but...You can look for the two water hoses that attach at the firewall next to each other. Just disconnect them and using the garden hose and low pressure, flush the core in both directions. If you get good flow then the most likely problem is the blend door(s) or actuators.
Check the coolant level if low air in the system will cause little or no heat out the vents. If coolant good I'd recommend replacing thermostat. If low would some sort of coolant leak, possible waterpump leak, or hoses if visible on the ground after filling. If no visible leaks could be head gasket leaks.
No coolant has to do with heat. freon has to do with ac. Now when you said your ac AND blower doesnt come on right away are you saying it does this ONLY when its on ac or when its on heat too. I would first change out your coolant level sensor or add coolant (which you said was fine) and see what happens. but im sure they are not in relation as the blower motor is on its own circuit
Since your blower is working and it is a heat issue,thats where we'll
start,First thing is have you checked the coolant level in the radiator when
engine is cold,make sure it is filled to top,next verify you have coolant in
reserve ,Start your van and get it up to normal operation temperature,If your
heat gauge on the dash works correctly it should be 190 degrees,Now lift the
hood and locate the two heater hoses going into the heater assembly at the fire
wall,Both hoses should be hot to hold on to,if both are hot and no heat inside
your problem will be the blend air door in heater assembly. if neither hose
is that hot you need to replace the thermostat in the engine to get it up to 195
degrees. if one hose is hot and one is luke warm then the heater core is
blocked and to blame. hope this helps you.
when the level of coolant drops in the motor the heater core is the first to be without
because it sets up high
so you need to check the level
and check where the coolant is going
to make the level drop
check the water /coolant level the blower motor is under the hood held in by three screws and one plug you dont have to pull wires under the glove box to fix the fan.
