I recently bought a 1992 eagle talon tsi awd turbo. The guy i bought it from had a problem with the down pipe and the turbo. He gave me a turbo from an eclipse from the same generation but it needs a manifold. i was wondering, if i get a stock downpipe and use the eclipse turbo will everything work fine?

no the configuration is much different to the bolt pattern and they are also balance differently as well. You can not mis match these or improvise there fit what so ever or internal engine damage will occur
Superchargers are mainly used on higher powered engines and not 4 cylinders.
Talons are more of a high revving car and why a turbo is best suited.
You will be better off upgrading components for more power and performance than waste time with a supercharger.
If you have a non turbo then make sure you have a good engine, trans and frame before you do anything and really better off buying a TSI AWD factory made and the modify.
First things first. Do not bother trying to use the stock boost gauge in that car, it runs off of the ECU and it estimates with small calculations what the PSI may be, the stock boost gauge is ushally 2-3 psi off.
What i recommend is getting yourself an aftermarket boost gauge you can get em used locally on craigslist or a cheapy one from a reputabile ebay power seller. or pick one up for 40-60$ from autozone.
After you do that mount it in a good location, they are very very simply to install, if yours does not come with an instruction paper, you can search boost guage install on dsmtuners.com or yahoo or google.
BUT BY ALL MEANS DO NOT TRY TO FIX THE STOCK GUAGE, YOU WILL NEVER KNOW THE ACTUAL PSI READING.
On the 92 you have a rubber grommet in body, then you see black plastic insultarer and chrome fastener! Most junk yards have them for a buck or two. 91 should fit also!
