The starter will be located on the lower right side of the engine and it is located near some key components for your vehicles ignition system. If you do not consider yourself at least a "B" level technician, I would suggest that you take it to a nearby shop in which u trust.

I want to put 225 60 r16 snows on my 2000 sonoma which currently has 205 60 r16 all seasons...i am putting the 2 snows on the back. any problems other than the speedometer and possible abs sensor?

There should not be any problems unless the truck is 4 wheel drive. Then there will be binding and possible damage. But is sounds like its 2 wheel drive.

I have a 2000 gmc sonoma and while driving down

Probably the CV joint. When you put it in 4x4 that puts extra torque on it so it wont vibrate so much.

1999 GMC sonoma starte installation

2.2L Engine remove protective shields as needed then remove front exhaust pipe. Remove the brace from the engine to the clutch housing, then disconnect starter wiring. 4.3L Engine 2 wheel drive just remove the right front tire and you will have access to the wiring. 4.3L Engine 4 wheel drive you must remove the differential carrier shield if equipped then remove the starter bolts and rotate the starter to get access to the wiring. Good Luck.

Engine won't start

maybe that could be check for that fuse if it is busted.if your starter will crank and still the engine will not start then check if there is current coming from your high tension wire of your distributor assembly.if there is no current check for the connection or fuses.
