I have a ford escort 16v 1.6 zetec it has been running fine until last few days it has just started playing up when i am driving its almost like a miss fire but causes the car to juder as if its going to stall whilst i accelerate can you help me please

good old ford lol, try looking at the crank sensor its located at the front of the engine tucked in right hand side of exhaust manifold and gearbox, two pin plug, i have also known these to have no end of faults with the fusebox.
easy to remove, and solder the connections inside they all suffer eventually, if your not to handy with cars i recommend taking to a auto electrician, easy if you know how. Good luck Davelee
If the engines are ZetecDOHC 16v, I would suggest that you source a new water pump for your engine. To change the water pump is not very easy for the average DIY. I would entrust the job to a vehciletechnician and get the drive belts changed at the same time as the anti freeze would have contaminated your drive belts.
