I have a peugeot 406 LX, 1999, V-Reg, 4 door saloon. I previously had the same car but when the temp guage reaches near 110 the fans start. But in this car when the temp guage is below 90 the radiator bottles start pushing the water and steam out and fans don't work. I got the thermostat changed, the fans' switch replaced but the problem is still there. Please tell me what EXACTLY is wrong with the car.

the pump only runs for a few seconds when the ignition is switched on if the engine does not start, check for a blown fuse or faulty pump relay .

The front and rear license plate mounting brackets work nicely for strapping on a small child...but seriously refer to the instructional video in the link to mount a child safety seat in a car with or without LATCH points. The Peugeot 406 was required to have LATCH mounting connectors effective in 1999 in the US and Canada. The location of the mounting connectors should be detailed in your owners manual.

They start when the engine temperature reaches about 220F

try to get the Haynes Manual for your car as is more helpful.

Have the coolant temperature sensor checked.
When the coolant reaches a certain temp, that sensor should turn on the fans.

maybe is a low battery or the starter absorbs too much

and if its a automatic then its 345nm

hi there should be a lock barrel somewhere in the front of the carit will be eithe rin the glove box, on the side of the dashboard on the passanger side, in the center console near the handbrake or to the lower right of thr steering wheel on the dashboard
with this you can use your car key to turn off the passanger air bag off (note- this will put the airbag light on)
