2003 Windstar - Right front and rear windows stopped working at the same time; left windows work fine. Checked the right front window fuse and it's good. The backlights on the window controls are lit up but neither of the window controls (driver or Passenger) work for the right widows. I don't hear the window motors when attempting to lower the windows but I did notice that the passenger backlight goes off when I press the driver side control for the right window.

does passenger mean right side (LHD) or left on Right hand side car(RHD)?????? no country told so know drive side guessed.

a window can fail for many reasons, bad
window motor RDM or jammed up guides at window
the PDM right side bad.
the switchs right side bad
grounds at right door motor bad. 31/116 (G)

the master door control send network commands to right side door.
there are 4 major components in just the right door front.
why not scan the PCM first (OBD2) port for DTC errors
from right door. front.? that be 2nd step after fuses.

You can't put up the front passenger window with it's own switch ? Did you check the POWER WINDOW RELAY in the instrument panel fuse / relay box ? An you checked POWER fuse 30amp same fuse box ? All window switches have direct power from power window relay !

Hi there: According the owners manual, the fuses are in the Engine Compartment Fuse Box, number 106 (right hand window), 113 (left window) and rear quarter windows inside Instrument Panel fuse panel #18. I hope this helps. Thanks.

Doesn't use a fuse , ues a circuit breaker . These very rarely go bad .The right rear door works ? Uses same circuit breaker as front passenger door. The power windows an locks on your vehicle are controlled by electronic control modules . FPDM - front passenger door module , I would look for a broken orange wire inside the flex boot from the body to the front right passenger door . This is power supply to the passenger door module . Sounds to me like a switch problem The master window switch should be checked. Also check the door switches to see if they are getting voltage. Could also be bad window motors. Tests need to be done. Is there power to the power seat switch?

I suggested you use some OBD2 scanner to have a detect. Very easy to use and very useful.

Rear Fuses ? If not....Pull out the rear seat bottom and check fuses there.

Windows are controlled by a module which may have failed. Only way to check is with a scanner for BMW.

the motors that opperate these windows are known for sticking or going bad the only fix i know of is to replace the motors.
