2000 Nissan Maxima. Headlights work but tail lights won't come on. How do you fix the wiring of this?I have changed the bulbs and nothing. The brake, reverse, and turn signal lights work, so the bulbs work, just not the running tail lights.

Tail lights work on a different filament than the rest of the lights you mentioned, it is possible both bulbs are burned out for that filament. if not, check the fuses as the tail light circuit in some cars is on a seperate fuse. the remaining possibility could be bad socket contacts.

Tail lights don't work but brake lights do. fuses are all good.

the bit which the bulb sits in might be faulty, only saying this, because I have had same issue with my car.

You probably only have a blown fuse, in your fuse box, look for the fuse maked (tail light). this should take care of you problem...
