You need to remove all the skrews from the door. Normaly there is one in the handle of the door, one behind the in door lach handel and one under the bump out for the arm rest on the door. Than you need to take a flat head skrew driver slowly priying the panel off. There are plastic clips on the backside of the panel it is ok if you brake a few.

I have the same problem. Do not know cause but I remove large red 50 fuse in engine compartment fuse box, wait 15 sec and replace. Lock car and unlock. This seams to reset something and car is fine. This problems seams to appear when my battery is low.(?)

It could still be the battery....It may not be strong enough to start it but you will still have enough to operate windows and radio....It doesnt take much power for radio....or windows Unless you move the windows constantly then it will run battery down quick.....Check battery voltage and battery connections...Also jeeps have a ASD relay which means AUTOMATIC SHUT DOWN...This could be a bad relay.........This is under hood at fuse Power Block Box.....This could of course be the starter also...Check wiring connected to starter....Sometimes it will vibrate loose and it will do nothing....And the crank sensor will cause it not to start....It is on the passenger side of engine block under and at back of engine ...You cant miss it if you can get under it.....It has another relay the same size as the ASD relay...You can test the ASD relay by switching the two and this will tell you if the ASD relay is blown...If this doesnt change anything and still wont start it is not the relay.
I am chrysler tech and have jeep manuals.......I can help you through this....I need engine size and exact problem....Does it turn over at all ?..How many miles on it ?..And does the dash lights and gauges operate when you turn the switch on like normal...?..Make sure it is in park and your foot is on the brake while turning it over.............................................Metalpoet
