real name is Daewoo Magnus
and does not have the h25 V6 Suzuki engine at all, confusing many
it has a Daewoo XK6 I6 (gasoline) inline 6, a totally different engine.

Sounds like you may have damaged the idle sensor or forgot to reconnect it after putting it back together.

1. lets face it if your replacing the water pump you may as well shout it a timing belt kit at the same time as you will already be there to do the water pump and at least then with any luck you wont be back there for 90000klm when the next t belt is due.it may cost alittle bit now but it is better than overheating due to coolant leak or t belt failure because the tension had been altered in the water pump replacement procedure. either one of those things happen and you will be doing all of the above with more work and expense involved . preventive maintainance .

Pumps leak at a 'weep" hole just under the pulley. This allows pump to let fluid escape after seal fails. Many pumps will continue to work for a long time before total failure. Just check radiator fluid level often. Your car may not justify an immediate fix due to cost of new pump replacement.

GET USED COILS FROM AN AUTO WRECKER but always go with new on the water pump!! labour for pump may be expensive i'm not sure but it may be inside with the timing belt we dont get daewoo here in canada

If it only has slight dents and a little rust you'd be better off having those repaired, with the products used today for rust and bodywork, the cost would be a little less in overall costs,, your going to have to have the replacement body part painted to match the rest of the car anyway , and replacing any quarter panel in a car is one of the hardest fixes on a body , getting alignment correct , If nothing else I would take it in for some estimates on total cost. If you still would rather do the replacement, I'll hunt down that info for you

More than likely the pump. Check the fuse first. To replace the pump, you remove the washer tank, disconnect the wires,pull out the old pump, and push in a new one, and re-attach the wires. ( plug in)

it will most likely cost you a lot of money you must remove the engine mount on the left side of the engine also all the plastic guards. it is also a good idea to replace the water pump and the belt tensioners at this time. it is also very important to check the valve condition at this time if you had a timing belt actually break because it could have bent a valve. It takes a long time to do i did one and it took me at least five hours.
