Im installing a new stereo and need a wireing digram

One thing to check and I have come across this a couple of times is that some factory stereos used a black wire for the stereo illumination, if you have wired the black (earth) from the new unit to this wire it will cause the fuse to blow, disconnect the earth from this wire and wire it directly to the vehicle.

go to Auto zone or O'reillys pick up a Chiltion or Haynes book at the back of the book is the wireing digram with labeled colors on the wires...picture is in black and white but every wire has a color code next to it.

You might save yourself a lot of headaches by stopping by a car stereo sales/installation place, and ask for wiring adapter harness. They should have an adapter plug that goes from your factory plugs to the new stereo. $10-$20 well spent. You may even find what you need at an auto parts store that sells stereos too, or radio shack.
