My 1999 7.3 diesel f250's airbag light flashes and the horn doesn't work. When you blow the horn you hear the relay (or whatever its called) in the fuse box click but no horn sound is heard.I bought this...

if the relay is clicking when you push the horn button then i would say there is a problem with the horn, if you can get to the horn tap on it with a small hammer or unplug the wire and test it with a test lite

1997 toyota avalon will not crank or start horn blowing and lights flashing security light on.

Try unhooking your battery for about ten mins. This might reset your security system. You might also try locking all the doors and then unlocking with the key.

you can not reset the airbag light you must correct the problem if the light is on that means there is a fault in the system and your airbags will not deploy in a accident you need to have a shop scan it with a scanner to help pinpoint the problem

You could check if current runs to the horn wires when the horn switch is pressed. If ok, then the horn itself may be old. Next thing is the fuse, the grounding source, the horn-wire plugs.

Airbag light stays on or fluctuates. Possible causes?

A component of the airbag system is failing. If you are steering when it flashes it could be the clock spring in the steering wheel. When this light is on you will not have airbags in an accident. only a scanner can pull this info.

disconnect the battery and wait at least ten minutes before messing with the airbag,don't want the air bag going off while your working on it. behind the steering wheel you should see the bolts holding the air bag in place. once you get the screws off remember there is still a connector holding the airbag in place so disconnect it and you should be able to see your horn switch.

Horn on my 1999 Ford Taurus

does your cruise control work? the reason is that there is a what is called a clockspring harness in the sterring wheel under the airbag, if your airbag light is flashing chances are this harness is broke and will need to be replaced, The airbag, horn, and cruise control all go throught this clockspring harness.

I would suggest to you to have the spiral cable (or 'clockspring') replaced. This is the electrical unit that transfers power to the air bag, the horn and the cruise control.

It is located right under the seering wheel.

Your description of the issue indicates to me that your spiral cable is loose, and making intermittant contact. If the vehicle had an air-bag deployment, this cable-device should have been changed.
