Check the temp of the heater hoses going into the heater from the engine in the engine compartment.
If you have a temp gauge on the dash does it go at least 1/3 the way up the gauge from cold in normal driving.
You can take a garden hose and flush the heater....both ways back and forth then reconnect heater hoses and check for heat.
But.....The # 1 cause of no or low heat is the engine thermostat.
It needs to close tightly to force the engine coolant through the small heater core.

1999 Buick Regal heater blows cold. Is there a common problem with this model year and the heater?

Heater core could be bad/clogged, the rust over time and the little gaps could he clogged.. just because the hoses are warm doesn't mean the core isn't clogged.. did u check the temp setting Gage..

NO HEAT. A/C works fine. Air blows but no warmth. blows cold air for front defog and cold air blows when temp cranked high 1-5

warmth comes from the heater in the car
if it is climate control check the climate control module
check for heater control in the vent settings as the hot water tap may not be turning on

I've got a 96 Buick Regal Custom 3.8L V6. It's been running hot for a while. Yesterday the heater worked fine then last night it started blowing cold. I knew I had a cracked radiator, so I replaced the...

the one thing that comes too mind is trapped air-when i do a radiator I always start up and warm engine so thermostat cycles a few times to make sure that you dont trap air in colling system. you did not say so but if you didnt, its really not a bad idea to change thermostat and gasket when digging into colling system. they are usaully fairly cheap.

Replaced 96 buick regal radiator. Now the coolant

check the level of coolant sounds like you had a air bubble in the system and it finally came to the top.which means the coolant will be down.

Hi there,

When it warms up the next time check the transmission fluid level. I suspect its running a bit low.

Best regards,

Passenger side only blowing cold air.

You need to replace the "blend" door actuator motor on the pass side. I recommend getting that from your nearest gm dealer to ensure proper fit. When you adjust the air from cold to warm to hot, the blend door moves to direct the right amount of cold, or warm, or hot air your desire on that side of the vehicle

2005 Tahoe-just installed new battery, driver side air blows hot while passenger and rear air blow cold.

you have lost A/C and heater calibration , disconnect the battery for 10 minutes then hook back up start the truck turn the climate control back on do not touch any other button for 5 to 6 minutes let the ecu reprogram then set your temp setting and it should work fine

96 buick lesabre climate control

Is the coolant full ? Any discoloring of the coolant ,look like muddy water ? gm dexcool antifreeze if mixed with regular green coolant can gum up the works , clog heater cores , radiators etc.... Have you ever had the thermostat changed , cooling system flushed ?
